Virginia Tech Contract Suppliers

Refer to the Virginia Tech contract search site and search keyword repair services to view a list of current contracted suppliers.

Contract Purchase Orders and Purchase Orders Issued by Departments

Issue a purchase order based on the quoted estimate. If repair costs exceed this amount, the supplier must stop work until the existing purchase order is cancelled and a new purchase order is issued for the revised total.

Purchase Orders Issued by the Procurement Department

If repairs exceed the quoted estimate, the supplier may not proceed until a change order is issued based on an updated quotation.

Maintenance contracts for scientific research equipment, where no firm other than the original manufacturer offers service, require no sole source justification.
